It's a private business trying to buy from him....not the city/government. He's fine.

If it were the CITY trying to get the spot, he'd be fukked.

This.. private investors will come back with more money before shyt gets drastic... but the state wouldn’t have offered half of that, and if he turned it down... it would’ve been a problem

Yup. And they will do it

He'll make out well. He has many options, and even if he decides sell the lot, that doesn't mean he's closing his business, nor does it mean he's selling out. He could get that $3mil+, get a new building, with new equipment, and continue to thrive. Hell, he would have the money to open up more locations IF he wanted too (not sure if he would as it was a family business).

No doubt he'd get the private investors to pony up more loot, AND pay for his new location. Hell, he could probably even get a piece of the rent from the apartments they build.:leon:.

Breh if that land is that valuable that they want him off it, it’s probably worth a lot more than what they offered him. Especially if his biz is thriving. That’s my point.
This is always the truth. That 3 million that offered him would probably be recouped in no time, if they're charging like 2.5k+ a month in a minimum at rent, plus there's like 40-50 units..

Better yet, he should be buying area around him too, if he has the ends for it. Or create some business plan to get access to loans...

He better pray they don't pull an eminent domain on him and give him even less
That’s only if it’s for government purposes I believe though. Like the government would have to intend to develop in that neighborhood.
