Hell just listen to Eddie Murphy "Raw" and everyone laughs at the part about the african women. But let someone else say something about african americans and they're automatically labeled c00ns and racists and God know what.

I thought this shyt was gonna be worse than Raw on some fukk African Americans stuff the way nikkas been spittin venom, only to watch the video and not hear any disses directed towards us.

Since the dawn of time in Haiti it has been you're either black, mulatto or white. PERIOD. African Americans werent the first to claim "black and proud". We can go back as early as the late 1700s. I'll use Haiti as an example because it's home for me.


THe original flag in 1803 (way before your black power movement) was red and black . Black = Black people and Red = Mulattos. Dessalines being a black man made it a point to put to black part of the flag on the LEFT. The significance behind is that the blacks which was were overwhelming majority should always be in control of the country this being the color thats on the side of the mast/poll. THis was later changed by Petion who put the red to the left since he himself was a mulattto. in 1964 Duvalier again changed it back to black and red with the black part on the poll.
So you tell me again when African Americans had to tell us we were black and take pride.

He/they, more than likely was using the word "negro" or "negre" the same way whites in the USA used the word "negro" before aframs came up up with the modern and inclusive use of the label "black" that meant, more just a color/complexion.

Of course I identified as "noir" and "nègres ". " Black " is an English term. I didn't learn to speak English until I was 15 or 16
