This isn’t a troll thread (very logical arguments made in OP), this thread got un-bushed after crypto started collapsing this year, and I wasn’t bushed for this thread. Damn, no accountability. Again, if a Black person randomly stumbled across this thread they would be more likely to have invested in crypto via FTX (one of the easiest and intuitive ways to do so) if they listened to you. They would’ve been less likely to invest in crypto at all if they listened to myself and others. Hold that.

Accountability for what? Are you mental? I nor anyone in this thread had ever mentioned FTX until this situation happened let alone keeping your crypto sitting on an exchange. so how would they have been more likely to go use FTX and keep their shyt there? At this point you're making shyt up now.

fix is NOT one of the easiest or intuitive
most folks who use it, do so through a vpn

most folks have their crypto on ledger or a wallet like metamask

the exchanges like coinbase are usually only used to buy eth/bitcoin and send to a wallet/ledger

Most new investors don’t go through all that to buy crypto. I’m laughing at posters in this thread who scoffed at our criticisms of crypto. I don’t have investment recommendations right now since I believe we’ll be in a prolonged bear market. It’s some ”silly shyt“ that you’re looking for investment advice from a stranger.

Accountability for promoting crypto at the peak. I admit I was wrong as far as timing of the decline. My point is someone looking at this thread would be more likely to invest in crypto if they listened to you and thus more likely to invest via FTX. Did you give any disclaimers in this thread about avoiding exchanges? If they’re more likely to invest, they’re more likely to invest via FTX. If they listened to myself and others, they would be less likely to get involved with crypto at all and thus less likely to invest via FTX. That line of reasoning isn’t complicated.

Obviously you haven‘t been reading what I’ve said. I don’t believe now is a good time to invest. Cash is the best. You do know that someone who cashed out all their investments at the beginning of the year would probably be better off right now right? You do know that loss aversion is a strategy right? And I’ve actually worked in finance and simplified the conversation so I don’t say things that go over people’s heads.

The Fed is going to be tightening like never before going forward unless there’s a major correction. That’s what the crypto maxis refuse to accept.
