The entire halving argument is based on past performance. Past performance isn’t indicative of future returns. This crypto implosion is going to turnoff the masses from crypto.

It's been the same patterns for 13 years.

Crypto won't be ready for mass adoption until 2028 or so.

This is the bullshyt getting wiped out. If you actually read into how everything unfolded you'll quickly realize this was more wall street scam artistry than anything else. They just happened to deal with crypto

OP makes the lazy mistake that most people in this thread will make. Thinking FTX = all of crypto. If FTX was a Ponzi scheme that means everything in crypto including BTC is a Ponzi scheme

The type who wouldve written off an Amazon or Apple right after the 2000 dot com crash. A lot of those folks now wishing they thought differently back then.

Exactly and I am still buying... I am getting 6 percent to 14 percent interest on these coins right now. People going to be crying after they miss out again

That pattern also correlated with unprecedented monetary expansion with the Fed printing money like never before and keeping interest rates extremely low. The Fed is going to be tightening like never before going forward unless there’s a major correction. That’s what the crypto maxis refuse to accept.

I mean I hear you but why would anyone invest in this stuff when you can invest/trade stocks. This is whole all of peoples funds getting wiped out thing seems to happen rather frequently in the crypto space. I don't know if its negligence on the traders part or not but it just seems like such a risky ask at this point.

I've always said if you make money off this salute but it all feels like such a crapshoot and dangerous. Yea you can get fukked on stocks but unless its something completely speculative you aren't getting wiped overnight.

Yeah this and people who invest in crypto via brokerages or exchanges can lose their entire portfolio when the brokerage files bankruptcy. That doesn’t happen with stocks. It’s foolish to think that people will lose their entire crypto portfolio in a bankruptcy proceeding then go and open another account and re-invest in crypto.

it's all over brehs. It's never coming back. First time it's ever been down 70% :pachaha:

Facebook & Tesla down over 50%. It's all over brehs. They unplugging everything

TBF a 70% decrease of anything is fairly alarming. Tesla and FB aren't exactly trending upward either.

I believe this is a fair discussion as it relates to Bitcoin and I would not be surprised to see another form of crypto overthrowing BTC by the end of this decade. Cryptocurrency as a whole however is here to stay and I will (along with many others) will continue to flourish with profits as these cycles continue. I’m hoping Bitcoin and the market continues to capitulate as time goes on to rinse and repeat these gains.

:wow:

Every market serves a purpose. I do both. plus real estate. the potential returns in crypto are way higher (with higher risk) compared to most traditional markets

A lot of this bullshyt you see now will eventually get regulated and cleaned up. But then at that point the opportunity for the higher returns will have went away as well.

it's a lot of negligence on people's part, but there's also a lot of bad actors in a space that's still early without proper regulations. this constitutes the high risk which is why there's also potential for high returns.

If you want to participate but you not down with all the risk, simply buy BTC/ETH on the regular and stick it on a cold wallet. do not leave your shyt on exchanges.
