No, dude called out Billy for not even fully reading/understandiong one of the texts and what statements were made in the text... this wasn't about interpretation unless Billy himself has said it's an interpretation issue.... it looks like Billy got caught not fully reading and knowing the shyt he was quoting... you're making excuses that Billy himself didn't even say...
The part about the text mentioning jesus crucifixion when Billy said it doesn't mention it...
the part about the gospel of barnabus being written centuries after the actual events...and this isn't about carbon dating.. the gospel paraphrases the work of Dante's inferno which adds validity to the dating of the piece.
the fact that Billy didn't have any rebuttal during the conversation...but went so hard afterward shows that he doesn't really research the shyt he speaks on... because he was only called out on his own words... he wasn't presented with new material he wouldn't have experience with.

Did Billy have the Bible in front of him? Dude isn’t a Bible expert. I never had a problem with Billy speaking his opinion whether I agreed with it all or not. I don’t even have a problem with the Wes dude, I just know he didn’t come there to discuss anything, teach anything, etc. His purpose was to attack Billy

I also commented because I’ve seen this Wes guy before. He has it out for dude
If they only talked about the Jesus thing then idgaf because I never agreed with Billy on his Jesus takes… at least I needed more research and reflection on my own
Other than that, mostly everything Billy has said I have heard/read elsewhere. Is he right? Who knows… I’m not here to up end someones belief or faith. In fact, I think most religions are similar if not the same, and that organized religion has hurt just as much as it helped.
Plus, I enjoy discussing religion

Thats the thing, even some of Billys sources faced the same issue Billy faces when going at organized religion. Everyone says this is fake, that is fake, etc etc. Mistranslations, fake this, fake that. I thought Billy read all ancient texts to the source (museums translate them now.. learned that from Billy). Are you saying he misinterpreted texts in the Bible? Well he would probably need one of the same version Wes reads to get it right word for word.
Who cares, what is the TRUTH. Billy has his version, Wes has his, you have yours, every other religion has there’s, but what is the TRUTH.

What does it benefit Billy Carson and his theories if Jesus wasn’t Crucified?
That seemed the main issue in the video which Billy was 100% wrong and lying about.
But WHY LIE?
Why try to say Jesus had a secret wife/was married?
For clicks and views?
Either Billy is incredibly stupid (you don’t need to be a Bible scholar to know what the gospels say about Jesus and how it’s the most credible source we have historically) and came into the debate unprepared.
Or he’s just purposely attacking Christianity via Jesus NOT “dying for sins” all the while knowing he’s wrong.
Either way he lost
