Whoa.
Glad you're ok breh.
Thanks man. I went from lying on my sofa watching Netflix to my Apple Watch suggesting I call emergency services. Somehow drove myself to an urgent care not too far away. This last year of grad school and shytty eating and smoking along with all that stress was the main culprit. Cycling and running saved my life cause it was a massive heart attack

As someone who flatlined from a cardiac episode a little under two weeks ago, I hope this kid is fine and lives a somewhat normal life. Them shyts come out of nowhere. I’m truly afraid to eat or do anything. I don’t leave the crib without my nitroglycerin

Cot damn breh glad you ok. Did you have an underlying condition? Is there something we all need to get checked for?

I don't think it's afford. I think it's chain of approvals involved like most giant corporations. The NFL is too big to say that it's only the decision of Goodell. It starts with the owners of multiple teams first, then Goodell, then ESPN (and however many of their brass needs to sign off).

I'm not mad about the decision taking time. Just that they made the right one and I hope we don't get super fukked up news after this.
nah its really that simple lmao

and if that's how folks want to look at it, they need just as many go-aheads from partners to greenlight nothing goes better with a potentially dead players than our new BK Whopper Value Menu. marketing is not going to be okay with it and will want that shyt to stop too obviously

if neglecting the human element is suddenly complicated then your values are crystal clear. no point dancing around it

It's a legit question to ask and it's the reason the game hasn't already been cancelled
What does the NFL do here if they cancel the game?
Just make 7-3 the result of the game? That doesn't seem right

It's not like baseball, basketball or hockey where you can easily postpone a game to a later date

It's more of a logistics question on how the NFL can handle this given how important this game is to the playoffs picture (basically locks #1 seed in AFC)

To me, cancel this and figure out the rest later. Throw the game out and spend the next 24 hours what to do
Yeah I was going to ask a similar question on the logistics around cancelling the game. It's just a time and place and a certain way to ask the question without sounding insensitive to the player. Skip like usual lacked tact in asking.

The key isn't the heart, its the circulation of air. As long as your circulating the air to prevent brain death, then you can keep a person alive doing CPR.

I should have added the caveat of them also having an oxygen tool in place ie bag mask valve, on vent, etc. otherwise you are just pushing around deoxygenated blood. As long as you have an oxygen source and good compressions, in young people you’d be surprised.

However the way it happened I wonder if it was something aortic trauma. Whatever it is I’m praying for that man.
I don't think so. They got away from prioritizing the breath portion of cpr. They encourage chest only compressions unless you have 2 people. Cpr keeps the blood flowing to vital organs
