Getting hit the wrong way can literally cause the heart to stop. I hope they got him back started again
This probably ain't the thread to have the discussion, but there is awareness by the players that the wrong hit can take you out forever. It's a violent sport. Just like NASCAR. Just like F1. Just like all of those extreme sports. We allow ourselves to forget through being entertained and paid by it, but it's dangerous.......and not one teammate I've ever had would change their decision to play it.......because it's also fun as hell. We used to have open discussions about whether or not we'd let our kid play and weirdly the majority said they would try to stop their kids from playing.
