would've just been for the best to have them take each other out with mutually assured destruction tactics and end the show after 3 seasons. The teaming up felt last minute to me and all of the feuds born out of it won't live up to Chuck vs Axe which was the whole purpose for the show. Plus knowing how Showtime drags shows out, I don't have a good feeling about this
Chuck vs Axe was getting played out especially if one of them isn't going to jail or even killed off the show. They're stretching it out a bit now. They needed a new adversary in the mix which is Taylor. She even has her own Wags type player on her team. I agree with you though. We gotta see how this team up plays out.

Oh yeah, that blonde chick advising Taylor is such a kiss ass. She be trying to stare deep into Taylor's eyes on some weirdo shyt. She wants to scissor or whatever the lesbian term that is equal to smashing. lol

this is why I said the show should be 3 seasons long.

Taylor greeting her father, like he was just another investor
:deadmanny::dwillhuh:
So Taylor is really a “she” -finally got the answer.
Chuck and his rubber band fetish .. :dwillhuh:
Mafee (edit - Dollar Bill) was really about to cause a chicken pandemic because of stock losses ??

No Whammies!!
what happened to the writing this season :picard:

On the one hand, I feel like the dialog has become even more cringeworthey this year.
But on the other hand, I feel like the story has been more entertaining that last year. So I'm actually enjoying it more.

It's still annoying to me that Axe could look at a giant page full of mathematical equations and say:
"AH HA! They made a mistake!
But THEY don't make math mistakes, So they did it on purpose!
Which means, they know I was watching!
And they know that I'm a super genius, who knows that THEY'RE a super genius who never makes mistakes...
So they know that I would figure out that its a message!
So this must mean that they want to meet me at exactly 12am on that ONE pier in Brooklyn! Of Course!!"

All that from high resolution printout of a math equation taken through special "privacy" glass by secret Mossad spy cameras set up perfectly perpendicular to the whiteboard?

Haven't seen so many logical leaps since

the chicken subplot in tonight's episode featured some of the worst most on the nose dialogue I've seen on a show (a supposed premium drama at that) in a long time if not ever. I mean shyt was damn near a parody almost. Then to not just reference movies/tv shows in the dialogue but to act one out :francis: But the ending scene with Chuck & Axe was strong & hopefully means more of them are to come

I like the dialogue being light the last few seasons, but the one-liners are becoming a bit too much.

The Dollar Bill story, I am not sure what purpose it really served.

i'm still an episode behind but seeing these small moments between Axe and Chuck are weirdly satisfying.

i can see in small moments, the complaints about the writing/dialogue this season.
Taylor quite particularly been saying her lines in quite a cartoonish villainous bounce.

quite glad Michael Rispoli's arc wasn't only one episode.
i'm glad i'm seeing more of him again with The Deuce and now Billions. always liked him.

also.

fire. good people and good food over there.
