Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
It's not super hood or anything but I wouldn't call it a nice area. There is a lot of litter and quite a few bums for a residential neighborhood. Plus no good food options besides Jamaican

I mean I’ve never heard of any good food there period. Looks like a hood that will only cater to Afro Caribbean (& indo-caribbean) for a super long time. I’m sure the Caribbean’s don’t mind that either lol.

I haven't really seen any Indo-Caribbean spots there. Just a lot of Jamaican and maybe some Haitian. Other than that it's all Arab bodegas, fast food, and Chinese takeout. Yet Richmond Hill is nearby and has a much wider selection of food.

It's my dream to own my own rowhouse (whether it be a brownstone, limestone, brick, or even wood frame).

I especially love the really ornate ones like this

Yea I think Springfield is like 90% Afro but nothing going on plus I could imagine it’s annoying living next to JFK territory.

Rowhouses barely have any grass to mow, though. None in the front and a tiny backyard that a hand powered mower can take care of

I like brownstones but I would prefer a corner one to park my car. I would use the bottom level Heights as a garage and put a patio above it.

As far as my kids go I think in urban community kids should be worried about basketball at the park. At least they can make friends there.

Was that you that came to the Taste of Chicago with us a couple years ago?

Lol, how am I going to have any semblance of who you and “us” are? And my memory is shot, I went to the Taste the past two years with coworkers I think during the weekday for lunch. Prior to that I hadn’t been in years, like since 2004.
