Me too. I'm shocked Van made it through in the Green movement. It's lily white. I've been out to some events in my area and it's ..Van used it as springboard though. He talked about it was just part of the process. The "Green" movement has kind of died down due to the economy. I've been up to Seattle and other "progressive" areas and I've heard the same kind of passiveness when topics specifically pertaining to AA's come up. shyt like that kills my spirit breh. I don't like being someones punching bag and I damn sure don't like having my self-respect as a black man poked at or dismissed. It's tough man

Yeah, I tried to be really down for environmentalism, womens rights, etc...but all these movements ultimately end up feeling like distractions to
issues that affect black folks. Lord knows that they certainly distract the fukking democrats.

Here in the UK most black women cop a degree and decide they want nothing to do with black men. A lot of brothers, especially the Caribbean ones love white chicks too. It's very uncommon to see all black couples outside the hood among the under 35s.

Black women are the most submissive women when they are with a non black man.
I can see why men of other races would be happy with black women.

I hear you, for example I've never seen a black woman adopt submissive body language and get on her tippy toes gazing into the eyes of a black man awaiting a kiss, but I've seen them do it plenty of times with white guys

the funny part is if you follow the trends, these men are all old and have their white children to pass down their white legacies and weath. why they can't seem to find these men in their prime and get children by them?

It sucks finding progressive black couples to hang out with. I only have a couple and sadly our careers have displaced us across half a dozen states. Everyone's on this extended childhood, play with themselves until their 40.
