I'm saying Van Jones really intrigued me as a black environmentalist and his work out in Oakland. I've read both his books "Rebuild the Dream" and "Green Collar Economy". Brother is really sharp and progressive. But I can't lie and not say I wasn't disappointed in his choice of spouse. It just seems all stereotypical. Still a fan though.

When he became the spokesperson of blackness for liberal networks I was on that because dude comes off like a "post racial" Donald Glover type brother who drink the kool-aid of white liberals. I can't support you on the Van Jones tip though. Brotha didn't deserve to be attacked by Republicans like that. Read his book "Rebuild the Dream". He resigned because he really does believe in the progressive movement. I him for that.

Toure been a massive c00n. This dude was on twitter at one point saying that black women used to allow white men to rape them during slavery so that they could get special favors. He then deleted the tweets and said that his account was hacked.

He was also in that documentary Brooklyn Boheme...he was one of the only dudes on there supporting gentrification and the loss of the city.

He's done other things as well (On top of being married to this Oded Fehr looking bytch). Still has the nerve to consider himself some sort of "voice" for black people.

Van Jones was a big disappointment. I supported him when Obama kicked him out of his administration (White republicans always attack the blacks in his administration). But then I found out about this, and sorta felt like he deserved it.

I think that's really troubling how media has me looking at black relationships IRL as only "hood relationships"..I see successful ones in my own family but what I mean is on a larger scale. When it's said and done I got to move to an all black country/Island.
