Only problem I got with CP3 is he doesn't pass it to me while I'm driving to the rim off a pick and roll, he keeps his dribble alive and it kills my momentum to the basket

:what: Most people picked the Grizz to win that series.

Yeah, because they were that stereotypical scrappy, defensive underdog that people can't help but root for :manny: but on paper the better team was definitely LA.

Actually they were 14th, and they often struggled to get points in the 4th last season.

Games slow down in the fourth quarter anyway though, and that's the problem. Blake and Jordan have a hard time playing half court basketball, and that's the problem.

The solution isn't CP3 speeding the game up, the solution is Griffin and Jordan improving and Del Negro actually making a fukking offense or (best scenario) the Clippers hiring a REAL coach.

The one thing I will say that Paul doesn't do that he could is take more chances throwing certain passes, such as on cuts for Blake Griffin. In the limited time they played together Baron Davis was throwing those oops to Blake, not really worried about the consequence of a turnover because obviously Blake can catch a lot of those even with a defender on him. Paul doesn't really take risks like that, risks that a guy like Jason Kidd had no problem taking.

No they weren't. Memphis had the more talented frontcourt and at least equal if not better bench, and despite some of his own limitations a better coach (even though he didn't coach like it). In fact, the only real clear advantage Los Angeles had was Chris Paul.

They stretch that Spurs series to at least six games with a higher tempo (even with the niggling injuries), that's how they restrained Paul with all the defensive looks they threw at him. Westbrook was more effective against the Spurs, because although he didn't always make the right decisions, he constantly pushed the pace. The tempo threw the Spurs out of sync and took away their ability to control the game.

:wtf:
Did you watch the Spurs last year? They were #1 in offensive efficiency and top 10 in pace, right behind the Thunder.

Simmons is known for trying to look too deep in to shyt, but I agree with him saying they will have an unhappy team. They're TOO deep at the wing/guard positions.

Bledsoe is READY
Crawford/Billups - one of them aren't going to be happy taking less than 30 mpg
Butler/Barnes/G. Hill - clusterfukk...all 3 are starter/6th man quality

Odom is an enigma, Hollins has looked good in preseason but he's still a question mark.

Who's going to finish games?

And Vinny Del Negro is still the coach??

CP3 gonna be a free agent??

There might be some drama...

From watching them and @pete clemenza can agree with this, there were games where Paul would come out, Bledsoe would come in and shyt would get turnt up. Then when Paul would come in, things stalled out and not as free flowing. Not to say Paul can't run this kind of offense, but they need a Steve Nash-type of PG that can constantly keep the tempo going.

During the Clips/Lakers game a couple of days ago, they said CP3 credited that to him being out of shape...he plans to push the tempo more this season

Paul will not let that team turn into a pity party. He and Bledsoe can/should play together for stretches during games. Bledsoe's strong enough to guard 2's for short stretches, plus the league's downsizing as a whole anyway.

Butler/Barnes/Hill a clusterfukk? :wtf: Butler's easily the best out of those three. Hill's damn near 40 and Barnes is :trash: What's there to argue about?

Crawford's strictly a gunner off the bench. He might catch fire and finish a few games over Billups, but they know who the hierarchy is at that position.

Vinny's an awful coach and they might be unhappy with him, but not with each other.

I'm done reading Simmons stuff for a while after this stunt he's trying to pull, plus the LeBron suck-fest article he posted on Friday. He can't be taken seriously.
