Surprised no one mentioned Pac. I think he had a perfect balance as well. He could make gutter songs and inspirational songs and party songs just as good if not better than Big.
Juicy, Hypnotize, Mo Money Mo Problems, One More Chance (R&B remix), and Get Money
Piggie was a pop-rapper
D'evils isn't better than Gimme the Loot. You wilding
From making radio hits like Juicy, Hypnotize, Mo Money Mo Problems, One More Chance (R&B remix), and Get Money to dominate the clubs and charts. Then make street records that can compete with any other rapper (mainstream or underground) on a lyrical level like Last Day, Notorious Thugs, Long Kiss Goodnight, Who Shot Ya etc. On top of that the dude was an amazing storyteller. Ready to Die may be the greatest concept album of all time only rivals by his other album Life After Death. Biggie had everything. Flow, presence, charisma, voice, personality, and lyrical ability. If you ask me, Biggie may have been the perfect rap artist. All this under the age of 25. I can't even imagine what his discography would be like.
Some of yall probably aint gonna read all of this and just throw someat me, but ask your favorite rapper who's the king of NY

Thought that went without saying, plus Im sick of Biggie stans even comparing biggie to Pac....in every category he matches biggie but flows as crazy and has more flows.better song writer, more substance, can do any type of song, didnt need a Puff, can give you the hard shyt, emotional shyt, political shyt.
Might even give it to you all in one song....so if you use the same criteria of Biggie fans that reach to say he has songs with substance,i guess How Do You Want It is a club/emotional/political record![]()
you guys are always to one to bring up Pac whenever Biggie shows up
Yeah Tupac was versatile too. But a lot of his attempts at party records are. Like lets be honest, you can play Biggie to hear some lyrical shyt and then you could play Biggie to party too.
Let's be real
Biggie is the most talented rapper to ever get on the mic....and I'm taking Jay & Nas into consideration
As a rapper, it's not just what you say but the delivery...Biggie can make something simple sound incredible bc his delivery was unwordly
I listen to Life After & it's just so timeless
BIG wasn't a punchline rapper...he relied on his flow & delivery
Jay has flow but he doesn't have the delivery of BIG...BIG could slow it down, speed it up, swag on a track, he was just so talented
I do think BIG painted more vivid pictures than Jay...only rapper who could paint picture slike BIG was Nas
Y'all forget that BIG was younger than Jay so I do believe he still had room for improvement
Can we imagine BIG getting production from The Neptunes, Kanye, Just Blaze & Dr. Dre from 97-03
And truth is BIG influenced Jay so much I don't see how Jay could be better...best Jay could do is equal him but not surpass him
