About to listen to this now, but I'm not surprised by some of the negative comments here, no one can say he doesn't put too much of himself and his art out there. Hopefully his next project will be some collab effort, him rhyming with someone else or rhyming over someone else's beats. Curren$y does this very effectively, i.e. switching beatmakers for each album, Stalley tried to do it with his last project to. Keeps everything fresh.

I'm a huge Krit fan, but I feel like this isn't better than either of his first 2 mixtapes at first listen.

I feel like he succombed to the pressures of the record company to appeal to the whole "hard southern" demo...if that makes sense.

Maybe my opinion will change, but with his stuff I'm usually like :wow: right away...not so much thus far.

That beat for the Live From The Underground Reprise tho? Bangin.

I'm in agreeance with you. Don't get me wrong I'm a Krit fan to the 1000x power and will be coppin and supporting on Tues but I felt while the album is good knowing his talent based of the mixtapes it could have been a whole lot better. While it does bump I'm guess Im moreso basing it off my expectations coming off the mixtapes (especially KWH and RO4). And maybe it was pressure to be more widely sounding as oppose to his initial sound or jus a case of sample issues. Either way I'll give it a 4

Im starting to think Krit aint really cut out to be on a major. This album feels kinda devoid of "energy". It feels like a step-back from R4, which would have been a perfect mainstream debut

Of course, sample clearances and label pressure probably hurt this album, but I feel like the album should have sounded BIGGER than this
