First things first, the 100+ million dollar question. Sign Ohtani who might not be able to pitch ever again, to the richest contract in MLB or pull off a Mookie Betts type trade with San Diego and trade for Juan Soto and give him an extension.
Is that the rumor or ppl speculating because of the 2nd Tommy John?

Sho is my favorite player...but, I like the Soto deal more.

Just speculation because it's the 2nd Tommy John. The odds of being able to pitch again might be small due to the injury history, but stranger things have happened

Probably 98 percent bullshyt. Somebody should tell his agents, that Cohen is not Steinbrenner. George would have given his ownership stakes if it would keep him away from Boston.

After some pondering, I would lean more towards Soto over Ohtani. 5 years younger and no major injury history. You give him a 10 plus year contract and it's all prime. I'm all in for a Mookie Betts salary dump. Only way I regret that, is if, Ohtani is able to pitch at a high level for at least 60 percent of that contact.
