Finally decided to brush the dust off this and listen to it.

I like Sean's style that he developed for this album but I don't like that he did it the entire album. Yeah you perfected that flow, but you don't gotta do it the WHOLE time :what:

Even got Wayne doing your flow on your album because you've been doing it the whole time :heh:

Sean needs to vary his hooks, and the subject material has been abysmal

Good album, just feels like most of the songs are almost the same is all :yeshrug:

That's where I currently stand with the album. If you listen to it straight through the songs start to blend together, but on shuffle you start to appreciate it for what it is.
I disagree.

You can say this for Drake or J. Cole's albums, but Sean has vastly different production from song to song and one of the better aspects of this album to me is the variety of the sounds on it. It doesn't sound like one long ass song to me like some of these other albums do now a days.

I was referring to Sean himself.

The beats do mostly have a dreary, dark theme though. Cole's album doesn't sound like that, though NWTS did. Beats aren't VASTLY different, but they are different. Also what's with the song that sounds like No Type :what:

J. Cole is my man but it might be like I expected, Sean might've got him this time, solid 4 mics.
Still need some more time with it but it's cohesive and a lot of nice shyt. It has like 2 uninspired turnt up songs though but two of the bonus songs could easily replace those.

That first verse on Win Some, Lose Some :wow:

Sean, nikka you on, damn, nikka, you on / You was a millionaire but your nikkas is still at home / Damn, nikka, you did it, but damn it you did it wrong / You got time for that gig, but not time for the phone / Got it right with your ends, but fukked it up with your friends / I seen your ass up on TV, touched up on them twins / You don't know about hard times, you clutched up in that Benz / Get tired of fukkin' hoes then get to fukkin' their friends, whoa

Don't sound dreary or have a dark them

You serious?

Cole's album does not have this variety in it's production. Stop it.

Yup, that's how I feel.

Cole shyt isn't not better than this album. Sorry, but Cole's singing brought down damn near half of that album. And the songs def blend together after a while as far as their sound.
