First Krit album i’ve listened to, shyt is dope

ehh, this album isn't doing it for me outside of lay up. just sounds generic IMO. i'm gonna give it a few more spins since i haven't really been in a hip hop mood, but nothing really caught me on this.

ehh, i gave it two plays. krit usually has songs that make me within the first 30 seconds, this was missing that aside from lay up. it's an ok album, but it feels like a generic slice of southern pie. like the beats on the song with TI and UGK sound like songs i've heard 10 times before since 2004....krit my nikka, but this one aint hitting for me, nothing sounds fresh.

I think thats a positive of this project that the two disc offer two different sides and depending who you are, you'll like or the other more.

this is exactly how I feel. most of the beats sound like i've heard em a thousand times already. the only beats that truly hit me were mixed messages, layup, get away, and come up 2 get down. like I said before. it's a good album from top to bottom. there's nothing bad on here at all. but there's nothing truly "special" on here either. just don't see this having any type of longevity at all. production is super bland. keepin it all the way 100, that new devin the dude album is easily better than this.

Acoustic levitation? Yea, that's been in rotation ALL year, Devin came thru hard on that.
