The musicality of these beats is crazy. I used to think Krit was composing his albums cause of clearance issues... now I know he was building up towards something. Bringing in live musicians, sneaking in filtered soul samples... Such a high level of confidence

Get Away (the way he let the hook continue after the song, he knew we wanted that

Higher Calling (Crown Royal on ice...... sounds like this belonged on Cadillactica)
Layup (wayyyy too chill; what it feels like to earn that come up)
Price of Fame (can't quit whistling the melody in the background)
Drinking Sessions (the music here is what I thought Kanye might mature to, after hearing College Dropout)
1999, Big K.R.I.T., Get up to Come Down, and Confetti really wanted to make the list, but it just shows how good the other songs are

Album is so hard.
Lay Up sounds like Lac Lac on steroids with the amount of southern flavor but the whole album sounds like a potential future southern classic. Time will tell of course but this album was just what the soul needed I wish the hiphop climate was different so Krit could go platinum and have radio bangers from this album but regardless of that this album is fire.
Krit did a great job with this. R4 is my favorite from him and he may have topped that here.

i usually have the same opinion for his projects but this one felt different to me.Man... I can't...
...Again, as I've always said with Krit, I ALWAYS respect the craftsmanship and his conscientiousness, but I just feel like I've heard this same shyt from him like 5011 times. Hope he eats, tho.

ehh, this album isn't doing it for me outside of lay up. just sounds generic IMO. i'm gonna give it a few more spins since i haven't really been in a hip hop mood, but nothing really caught me on this.
