What's funny bout the whole Def Jam sample era was KRIT mentioned he got signed by Sha Money and LA Reid. He said LA mentioned how he loved his work and would let him do him album time. Well not too long after signing LA left Def Jam and they got a whole bunch of new people who didn't know how to properly handle KRIT. I always wonder if LA would've stay at Def Jam how would them albums turned out. Now there are some gems on there but I think they would've let him get them samples cleared and let KRIT do him kinda how LA let Kast and Goodie do them when they was on LaFace.
Bruh got me through undergrad way back when. Had a young Ace Money runnin' back "Home Town Hero" repeatedly.
I want KRIT to get the accolades he deserves, but I have the sneaking suspicion that both him and his fans are finally okay with what he's accomplished--sans major industry backing. And...wait......how is the single that damn short!? He ain't learn his lesson from this:
Either way, I'll be ready to stream the new project whenever it finally drops.
