yeah on the re-release they couldn't clear a lot of the samples. Like one of my favorite is DJ Wally Sparks' scratches on King's Blues with the Erykah Badu sample. Wally said they couldn't get that cleared for the DSP version

That's why i'm the biggest proponent on still downloading music and saving it to an external HD. These mixtape sites and even the OG youtube links to the songs gonna die out eventually, so it's best to save it for yourself

I'm glad I bushed Spotify - they've stubbornly butchered local file integration and STILL don't do cloud storage. I still have my old music files and on Apple Music I can just put them on the cloud and play them on any device
