Only time I’ve ever heard Krit played in Houston is around when “Country shyt” came out, and even that was pretty minimal, which is crazy cause his shows here have been dope and got a lot of love. Radio all over is pretty garbage though. Just seems like Top 40 music and your older local acts. There’s vets here that have consistently dropped music nearly every year, yet the radio hardly acknowledges their new stuff.

KRIT came out when CDs were still in stores...and the transition to streaming fukked A LOT of guys over. Thats how you get guys like Currensy and Wiz being niche acts but Kendrick Drake and Cole having to fight it out to still be relevant.

Throw Wale in there as well.

it was ROUGH on a lot of those artists.

Yeah the double album he did was dope.

Not feeling this shyt at all. It was playing through and sounded bland to me.

I like the format for this album where there is an interlude and then 3 songs and another interlude. It lets the album breathe and you catch the vibes. Although, the last interlude is followed by 4 songs but never the less this album is dope to me.

I think this is what he was tryna do with Cadillactica, but couldn’t quite pull it off. You could hear it on that Mind Control song. He got it right with this album.
