Definitely true.
But also Vince's record with Black champs in particular is horrible.
He was forced into pushing Kofi and Big E bc of New Day's popularity.
Big E's days were always going to be numbered bc of being held to unreasonable standards.
Any excuse to drop the title works. Ratings, merch, crowd reaction etc.
And the title losses always defines them down with quick clean pins. (also Bianca Belair)

You could keep him the exact same way as he is currently as a heel. If Lashley was a face, this board would detest him and certainly wouldn't want him anywhere near the championship.

Big E stepped it way up in the ring and you saw the improvement on the mic. Heyman gave the advice last year to E to make it so no one remember him even being in the new day just like Roman far surpassed the shield. Don’t know how Big E would’ve done that but thats what he needed

They started his run by having him win the title like a heel would.

He honestly should have cashed in the MITB on Bobby and won straight up.

He has too. He needs a new coat of paint and a new finish. Look at Reigns. He too was the hot tag guy from a legendary stable that had to grow into who he is. E has a similar trajectory if they stick with him.

When he was in the Day 1 video packages saying something like "while all the other guys are big and angry I'm happy and like to have fun" and followed that up with close up of him smiling it summed up his run, zero credibility as a threat.

Said it all along he's a flop as a face. Between the Booty O's, twerking, and pancakes he's just done too much goofy shyt to be a serious champion. They can fix that though and have him demolish Woods/Kofi like Lashley did HB. That's instant heat and so easy, too easy, which is why they won't lol
