WWE doesnt know how to book face champs well these days.

Drew's run got boring to me real quick because he wanted to be a "fighting champ" and that always sours quick because its new challenger every month, nothing built to last, and no payoffs for anyone involved. Like don't fukking bring me Dolph Ziggler as a #1 contender when he's been tagging for the previous year.

Big E needs a feud like Roman had with KO. Something long, drawn out, and features different types of matches. Give E a good ass payoff and give people a reason to invest in him as a champion. And hell, I wouldn't mind him bringing back the 5 count during a big time match. WWE's face champs are all cut and paste and have been for the last 5 years.

Exactly but this has been a problem since around 2013. Other than Daniel Bryan who’s title reign got cut short, WWE has not been able to book face champions since Cena initial run. They have all been “fighting champions “ or living the childhood dream and just happy to enjoy the ride. It’s like they can’t tho k of any other way to book a face.
