Were they submission rope breaks or pinfall rope breaks? If it’s the latter, there’s nothing about a no DQ that says you need to recognize a pinfall past a rope break.

jericho has never been a top tier worker to me.
edit: i guess also the tag match with benoit against austin and triple h, but even then he was the weakest link. that actually might be the best match he was ever involved in though.
