Both Jericho and Kenny almost no sold big moves near the end at the false finish sequences. Thats the only thing that kept it from 5 for me, it was a hell of a hardcore match with great heeling from Jericho and a lot of good spots.

The spot when Jericho took the table bump was dope. They set the table up way before so it wasnt contrived when the bump happened.

Jericho's place in history is gonna be a fun one.

He's got VERY realistic argument to move one of the usual suspects out of top 5 or 10 all time greats

We know he has the character depth and mic work and even tho in the last few years his inring has become sloppier due to age and him not adapting the style too much, the matches arent car wrecks, so we know he can do a 3-3.5 match easily. So it will come down to, does he have the draw numbers tho.

Rock, Austin, Hogan (I know :francis:, but he did a lot that can't be ignored), Flair are automatic top 4 in any order to me.

After that, I got a jumbled group of Savage, 'Taker, Bret, HBK, HHH, Jericho, Sting, Andre, Cena that can go in any order. And there's probably a couple names I'm missing. So to me, he's either at the bottom end of the Top 10 or just outside it. Longevity and relevancy count a lot in my opinion. I prefer to rank them in tiers personally and Jericho is definitely on that second tier with the names I mentioned.

He's had a lot of success outside of the sport which is a testament to his draw, wrestling fans follow him on his ventures and other forms of entertainment rock with him because he has legit rock star aura and is an excellent orator

There have been much "bigger names" that tried their hand outside of wrestling and they couldn't hack it

Jericho gotta be top ten at this point...

He certainly has to be over Taker, Sting and Cena...

I'd be shocked if ANYTHING on the show gets more than 4.5 from him, as he did say nothing on the show was even in the top 10 best matches from 2017 level. I could see Kenny/Jericho getting 4.5, Okada/Naito 4- 4.25 or some dumb shyt.

“Y’see back in the old days of the Terrytories all ya needed for a good match was a manager bump, a strong baby face and a tough lookin heel who could kick the shyt outta ya. Like this one feller by the name of Eric Vanderbilt, who’s family is nine generations deep of running waffle houses outside of Little Rock, Arkansas. Ya’ know not the shyt they serve at iHop, but quality, from scratch, flap jacks. And by the way Eric Vanderbilt you motherfukker, you owe me exactly $600 dollars for no showing a match against Dirty White Boy you cousin fukking ingrate. Brian what’s the next question?”

“Cuz hell, back in 1983 me and the Rock N Roll Express had a show in Shreveport,LA, it was against Sting and Z-Man because Stan Hansen n Roger Buck both were out with the flu. We drew $7,000 apiece. Great show, wasn’t booked right, but I digress.”
