Growing up black people never listened to Em ... obviously some do but thats not the point im making

recently because of sales, black folk have been all over this man and lowkey all that shyt backfired
because now you have more black fans speaking on Eminem than ever in the history of his career

Dude never said he was number 1 ... its mad weird seeing people complain about sales and race baiting
who cares if white people buy his albums even if they are garbage sometimes :yeshrug:

saying he wouldnt be a superstar if he was black is stupid too, he would still be a very large star... somewhere on Rick Ross level
it would have just taken him a different path to be on like he is. The whole objective convo about trajectory is stupid because people always get in where they fit in
I can name 50 lesser emcee's who are really dope and still carved a deep path and became stars
2 chainz alone is a perfect example : he came up with Dungeon Family ... could have used Outkast ties to blow up but carved his own lane and ended up with a solo career on par with CeeLo
CeeLo was supposed to be in Outkast but wasnt and still provided for Goodie Mob and carved his own Solo lane and blew up as a Star ... you could take Big Boi out of Outkast and put 2Chainz in
and you have the same result ... with Big Boi still blowing up as a star solo. None of that matters, the only thing that matters is if the dude put in the work to make the world know them.

Eminem's career isnt fully known by people that speak on it .... dude blew up from his underground tapes being straight flame. That was gonna happen regardless of what happened... same with 50 and Wayne did to build a buzz. He was obviously carried alot by being white but at first signing he wasnt smashing shyt like that with SSLP ... it wasnt until MMLP and Chronic 2001 Up in Smoke Tour where he really proved that he was a megastar. And he clashed with the media and "white america" and proved that he had more shyt to say than just "I'm white and I rap" He kept his promise and signed his friends and broke them into a Gold or maybe Platnium album. Although the pop star shyt is funny and people call him out for only dissing them.... he's moreso only dissed WHITE PEOPLE that you deem as corny. You can say MJ or Will Smith etc but they are icons, easy targets for marketing, thats why it doesnt amount to anything besides fan banter. Dude loves hiphop and always rides for his people, puts them in positions to win and keeps hiphop alive. :yeshrug: Attacking him and then getting mad that he's getting attention from being attacked is fukking stupid. You are mad at yourself for investing time into him when you never cared from day 1 :ehh: Sales dont matter, Eminem is not the greatest rapper of all time but he's definitely the best white rapper by far and he had the perfect style and ability to craft more than just punchlines. Whats also great is when other white people come off forced corny, eminem is 100% cool when he's corny at times. That is a huge factor to his awareness and character. He never passed off corny shyt as being real or dope, he's always made fun of himself when shyt gets too corny to bear.

rick ross was the most popular rapper in black america at one point.

what would a black Eminem do that would remotely get him to such a status??

i'll wait.

That's just not true.

Ye, jay, Wayne, tip, and others were all bigger than Ross even at his biggest

In 2010 and 2012, Ross was bigger than them. Ross was big enough to where he appeared on Kanye's MBDTF twice. He had Jay and Ye tapping over Lex Luger beats. All of those dudes had a Ross feature during that era.
