Other than winning comps, he wasn’t that entertaining to watch. He’ll be back for all stars, but if anyone other than Taylor or
Joseph
win, I’d be shocked.
I’d even take a Turner win over Michael.
First let me start by saying sorry for this long azz post, and don’t blame you if you didn’t read it lol.
Joseph was the most entertaining imo, but he wasn’t that good a player. Him playing double agent for as long as he did was overplaying. It was starting to rub some of his own teammates the wrong way to. Still, his social game was great, but strategically he wasn’t the best. And I think a great player could of flipped Turner & Terrance to keep themself over Kyle. Like for example, I bet Michael (not necessarily a great player but was imo was the best player in the house this season) in that situation would have flipped Turner & Terrance. Not because of his social game. But because of how much information, and dirt breh had from all the observing he had done.
I do give Joseph credit for creating the LO alongside Kyle though. I wouldn’t be mad at a Joseph AFP. I might even lowkey prefer he win over Taylor.
As for Turner, he provided some entertainment. And I think he doesn’t get enough credit for his game. He shouldn’t get too much credit, but he deserves some. Yes others controlled his HOH’s, but he still decided to put them big moves in motion. His HOH’s (even though he just did with his group said) impacted the game tremendously. Turner could of easily have said “we can get Ameerah out next week”, “I don’t like the bullying but I want Taylor out this week, “I’m not putting up Kyle, he’s my closest ally, my target was, and still is Taylor”, “I promised Michael last week I wouldn’t put up a LGBTQ+ person I won’t put him up”. Point I’m really trying to make about Turner is I wouldn’t mind if he won AFP either.
But the reason why I wouldn’t vote for them over Michael is because whenever Michael’s back was against the wall he stepped up, and saved himself (other than when he was evicted lol). He’s a legit superfan who played a decent game. Arguably was the best player in the house. Most superfans who gets casted usually end up being a huge disappointment. Breh was an underdog since week 1 as well.
Without Michael the pound would have dominated the game, all the way to final 4 easily (if Kyle doesn’t go racial). Michael’s gameplay consistently impacted the game. Winning as many comps as he did was dumb. But other than that he was on point for most of the game (he should have listened to Brittany saying take Turner out his last week), and he always thought two steps ahead. His HOH’s wasn’t messy, and he knew what who he wanted out.
I can just tell he really loves the show and enjoys playing Big Brother. There’s a reason why everyone this season was saying they thought he was the front runner to win this season. Most people online thinks he’s (alongside Joseph) will be the most influential to the jury as well.
Other than bringing home the win. All in all he checked a lot of boxes that a superfan could only dream of for a single season.
To many, was arguably the best player of the season, and played a game that made his favorite player (in his case, Janelle) proud
Tied his favorite player’s 15 year old competition wins in a single season record
Won iconic BB competition (OTEV, BB Comics in 9 minutes that’s a new record, Slip & Slide)
Was a part of the majority alliance
Played the middle (was unsuccessful in the long run though)
Had one of the best GBM of the season
Had an epic exit
Definitely not the most entertaining but I like to vote with a pretty even balance between entertainment and gameplay (maybe leaning a bit more towards gameplay). Plus I keep their impact on the game in mind.
