I am getting more clarity with the Southwest thing. The flight free companion maybe for one way, instead of the companion flying for free 'round trip'
shyts just a promotional, period offer/situation, will end 2/28/23 and back to the regular degular, you'll still get benefits from the rapid rewards card.The rep did not know if you get to pay the 6 dollars for your companion for the one way or does it cover the companion's entre trip

Last week I had to fly into D.C for a work related meeting. Booked a flight and nice hotel (Gotta take advantage of those 5X points right

walked into the hotel and the receptionist was this beautiful sister

Y’all know D.C got some baddies.
Anyways, during the check-in she was like “I need your credit card so I can place a refundable security deposit to your room.”
Took out the platinum
& gave it to her.
Y’all should have been there to see her facial reaction…..
“I like the way it looks. Damn!! Why is it so heavy though.”
I was like “They are made and designed like that for big boys only

no I haven't yet but I did show my parents once and they were like shyt how much you making again?
I ended up getting a platinum a few weeks ago. It’s crazy how people literally freeze when they see it. I had one woman started talking her ass off about the card to me after I handed it to her.

Was at Heathrow trying to visit a lounge yesterday and the "find an airport lounge" button disappeared. Sidenote: lounges at Heathrow terminal 5 were full as the airport was PACKED I had to wait an hour to get into one of the priority pass lounges
