iight fellas put me up on game. I'm bout to buy a plane ticket with my business platinum. Isnt there like a $200 reward or some shyt?
There isn’t a “limit” they just allow single charges of $40/50/60k at one single time. You do have to use it though so that their algorithms can figure out how much space to allow for large purchase.
I added my son to my gold delta Amex when he was 16 as an authorized user. Now at 20 has a credit score of well 750+. I upgraded to delta platinum they upgraded him as well. He then applied for his own NFCU card last year. They started him at 9000 limit. It’s now been upgraded twice so he’s at 14k. I’m an authorized user on that because he doesn’t use either of them without asking. So I pay the bill. When he leaves for University in the Fall at almost 21, he can step out right. I won’t have to worry about him needing a co-signer for anything like a lot of kids. Build your kids credit before they leave home so they don’t start behind the curb.Add them to a card with no fee and just don't tell them
nah. there's a credit to spend on the plane and you have to have your preferred airlines selected. look Into what specifically you can use that credit for because it restrictive, that particular credit isn't worth muchiight fellas put me up on game. If you’re flying delta you can cash out and use it on the ticketnah. there's a credit to spend on the plane and you have to have your preferred airlines selected. look Into what specifically you can use that credit for because it restrictive, that particular credit isn't worth much

How exactly?

Purchase a gift card for the minimum price (I believe it’s $50 for Delta). Once you do this, wait a few days, then use it on the flight you’re trying to buy, then put the rest on your amex platinum card. It will charge your amex as an additional collection fee, which triggers the airline credit. I think this works best for flights under $200. Check flyer talk forum for additional details. Most airlines have this loophole, it’s just different things you have to do
