My business has benefited from remote work. My motivation for continuing to be in favor of remote work is entirely capitalistic, and self interested. It's worked out well for myself and my employees. We've made a lot of money during the pandemic and work from home.

A lot of y'all so called democrats overplayed y'all hands and claim to be in favor of remote work for every reason under the sun except for how it personally benefited you. Some of you are so used to lying to yourselves and others to make yourself seem better than other people.
Nobody likes liars, hypocrites, or moral grandstanding. I seen muthaphuckas claim up and down that they want to keep remote working because of COVID and saving lives. Now that the political science has changed and your democrat leaders decided COVID is no longer an issue - get y'all lying asses back to the office.

yea, but there’s a bigger issue and in all these big metropolitan cities, there are hella vacancies. Small businesses are shuttered. A lot of businesses rely in people being at work. This push is economically driven and I see why. Not to mention all these big corps have empty offices sitting around collecting dust. A lot of money has been invested in the workplace. Best believe three e made or known that thry need asses in the seats.

Don't waste your time, for some reason they don't seem to understand this simple thing.

Pretty sure we all know this, people are just indirectly saying it.

The reason, to get people back in the office isn't just to micromanage, but it's to justify the leasing.

When workers travel to work this stimulates, another sector of the economy, from where people get their gas, lunch, grocery shop, parking, valet, clothes for work and spend on miscellaneous shyt(girl scout cookies) that they wouldnt otherwise if they were at home.

Also a lot of people have been able to build up their savings / pay down debt. This puts leverage back into the workers hands. Who are no longer living a check to check lifestyle and people can't just preach about being fortunate enough to have a certain opportunity to work.

Not looking good for that 2k a month in UBI, brehs.. :francis:
People shouldn't get paid just for existing. That's another pipe dream these lying ass democrats are selling to the young, stupid, lazy, entitled, and impressionable. And of course the manipulation is done under the guise of their superior morals. You can believe politicians and professional activists if you want :mjlol:

Anybody pushing for an end to WFH is anti-worker. :yeshrug:
Do you feel the same about your door dash delivery person, or Amazon driver? You have the previlege to stay home and log into work in your draws, watch Netflix, take 1000 trips to the fridge, and jack off all while getting paid. Frame the shyt in how it benefits you personally instead of make it seem like some larger movement especially when you don't give a fukk about the workers that have to support your work from home lifestyle and serve you. fukk outta here :camby:

I'm sick of the 9 to 5:francis:

As somone who's been back in office since july 2020, I think there should be a middle ground. 3 days in office, 2 at home. There really isn't a big need to be in office. I suspect it's because local businesses ain't getting that money from all the employees

With that said, I hope y'all at least have a side hustle

That’s one strange way to take advancing technology. Are you 79 too?

The President shouldn't make this statement though.
I'm going to be honest...most of the stuff these politicians do or say have very little impact on my day to day life. This does.
Right. A lot of democrats were cheering and applauding Biden when he was trying to force private companies to make their employees take a vaccine or lose their jobs. That was hilarious to them at the time. That old fukk, emboldened by a lot of the younger "progressives", been line stepping.
