What jobs do you believe they are taking that are squeezing black people out of the workforce? It's all types of service jobs available which is probably primarily what they will be doing.

Tbh, these guys are needed because they're gonna come in and do the jobs that many of us, black and white Americans just aren't doing these days.

Like for one, contractors.

I work for a big building materials business and young white/black people just aren't going into the business like that, which is a huge miss because if you do good timely work and have attention to detail + transparency, you can easily become a blue collar millionaire.

You just have to be able to teach and then eventually manage a team.

But even though we're not deep in that field the way we should be, you know who is? Latinos.

The only thing keeping them from outright snatching the entire industry is the language barrier, and their kids will eventually tear that wall down.

And the worst part about it is.....it's a necessary industry.

Yet we refuse to do it. Yet if we don't let in the Latinos, the entire industry will starve over the next generation.

it's a lie that they are only doing jobs that Americans won't. Americans refused to be UNDERPAID to do those jobs, therefore they are bringing immigrants to do those jobs at wages Americans won't accept. Train Americans and pay them a livable wage to do those jobs and you'll find the people.

They try to say the same thing about the tech industry, that they need more h1bs because we don't have enough domestic talent, which is an utter lie, because you'll often see American programmers 'looking for work' months at a time in a 'supposedly robust' market. Companies want cheap labor to get the numbers up so these CEOs can get obscene bonuses so they import cheap labor legally and legally while floating the le that Americans are too lazy and once these foreigners get in positions of power, they hire each other and reserve the best job for their country men.
