For brehs that see this as a great thing, I ask you: what gives you confidence we’ll move from studies and research to actual implementation?
Again, BIDEN IS STRUGGLING TO ADVANCE HIS OWN AGENDA THAT WOULD BENEFIT MOST AMERICANS. So how is he going to make shyt happen for Black people? Executive order? He won’t even take mass action against student loan debt via executive order.
Via influence in his own party and legislative action? He can’t get two chickenshyt Democratic senators to bush the filibuster and preserve voting rights…when those voting rights are needed to protect the entire party from getting washed. Again, what makes you so confident?
Since the 60s, there’s not been a single black-focused policy that Democrats have gone to the mat for to make sure it gets implemented. We’re supposed to let Biden dangle this carrot in front of us? He’s got us after we vote in 2022 and 2024? Bullshyt - make a credible, black-focused action NOW so we know it’s real. We already turned out in 2020 - it’s time for him and his party to do it’s fukking job.
Also, the fact that we’re acting like a 21 person panel is needed to study these issues for months is bullshyt. These aren’t new, emerging issues. I’m sure any academic who’s seriously studied these issues has a shortlist of things Biden could do via executive order.
Until ACTIONS say otherwise, this is nothing more than a desperate attempt to sure up plummeting black support. It’s damn near insulting. Black people cant continue to save this dumbass party or country from themselves without something in return.
