So independent countries have no right to decide if they want to join NATO or not? Only colonialist imperialist powers are important and every smaller country just has to obey? Because this is the essence of this arrogant nonsense. And you people are delusional if you seriously think that Russia's actions are because of NATO. If anything they would have attacked way sooner without the presence of NATO. After all, Eastern European countries weren't pressured into joining. Why would they attack Ukraine for no reason?? Agreements were made that Ukraine remain neutral and not join NATO. Do you even know what the purpose of NATO originally was??

What do you mean no reason. Putin had many reasons - be it legacy, imperialistic goals or resources. There are plenty reasons without NATO even being mentioned. And even if Ukraine wanted to join NATO, then it would have been their own decision and not that of Russia. Are African countries allowed to make their own decisions or should they also bow down to China's and France's interests?
