it's not debunked if you read the article (instead of the clickbait title). both say the decision hasn't been made but it's good to hear they are considering it. i thought they gave up
35+ trillion
How do people this stupid function in life?
Where is this from
You didn’t sign a contract where you agreed to have a broken leg. You signed for these loans and years later have buyers remorse. Not even near an applicable analogySaying something isn't enough doesn't make someone ungrateful. If you got a broken leg and the nurse underdoses you of pain killer you gonna be thankful you got any at all but still say its not enough cuz you still in horrible pain. Same thing here. This a damn fox News talking point smh. Do better.
What we need is a complete overhaul of the system, but that doesnt happen overnight. If he takes off 10k, wouldn't this need to be done again for other students or will those future students be out of luck?
Im not a fan of the analogy either, but people were 17 or 18 when they signed for these loans. You didn’t sign a contract where you agreed to have a broken leg. You signed for these loans and years later have buyers remorse. Not even near an applicable analogy

For most college graduates student debt is not crushingIm not a fan of the analogy either, but people were 17 or 18 when they signed for these loans.
The debt is crushing, wages are stagnant, and the cost of living has skyrocketed.
College is way overpriced.
People can not tell the future, and had no way to predict what this country would become.
That is the issue.
The college system is not compatible with current life in America.
