Lol so he’s gonna let a bunch of white libs off the hook, but can’t garner 100 mill to pay 12% of the population? Loooooooool

100 mil divided by the amount of black people in this country equates to a little over $2 breh:skip:

You know what I mean. Enough where we all get a million a piece at least. It won’t happen tho.

it's not debunked if you read the article (instead of the clickbait title). both say the decision hasn't been made but it's good to hear they are considering it. i thought they gave up

An executive from one of those student loan companies recently said that Biden was going to forgive the 10K and that was even before these rumors started popping up. They would have inside information about it, so I’ll believe that there’s truth to it.

Saying something isn't enough doesn't make someone ungrateful. If you got a broken leg and the nurse underdoses you of pain killer you gonna be thankful you got any at all but still say its not enough cuz you still in horrible pain. Same thing here. This a damn fox News talking point smh. Do better.
You didn’t sign a contract where you agreed to have a broken leg. You signed for these loans and years later have buyers remorse. Not even near an applicable analogy

If he takes off 10k, wouldn't this need to be done again for other students or will those future students be out of luck?
What we need is a complete overhaul of the system, but that doesnt happen overnight.
Things move slow in America.
You need to take baby steps. It typically looks something like this.
We are in Step 6 currently of just 10k forgiveness.
The process will repeat if the idea becomes lower interest rates or a more drastic action against student loan debt.

1) Apply pressure to politicians
2) Politicians flirts with idea, but doesnt do it
3) Public backlash
4) News media begins talking about it, painting either a positive or negative outlook depending on the news source
5) Public pressure is applied to politician
6) Politician is afraid of public backlash and considers actually doing it
7) Politician does it, or we go back to step 3.
8) Politician does it, and there is public praise from some, and backlash from others
9) Politician observes new voting data to determine if more action will happen in the future
10) Political party adopts either a positive or negative view of the action and it becomes part of the platform.

Im not a fan of the analogy either, but people were 17 or 18 when they signed for these loans.
The debt is crushing, wages are stagnant, and the cost of living has skyrocketed.
College is way overpriced.
People can not tell the future, and had no way to predict what this country would become.
That is the issue.
The college system is not compatible with current life in America.

For most college graduates student debt is not crushing
