The first week numbers (ie 330k) clearly demonstrate ppl are interested in hearing new Bey music ...especially considering the album leaked which I'm sure most casual fans weren't aware of

I Am Sasha Fierce is her worst album imho. The ballads were generally cheesy and Single Ladies aged like milk.

B'Day was decent but nothing really special. DIL is good but lacked cohesion.

Run This World is mid but the rest of 4 has aged very well and had some of her best vocals on songs like Love On Top.

Self-Titled and Lemonade were great albums that actually flowed together well. EIL was forgettable but far from bad. And the Lion King project was great.

I just said that her 2010's catalog was better and more cohesive than her 2000's catalog.

Bey had bangers in the 2000's but she wasn't taken all that seriously as an artist until her 2010's run.

DIL and BDay feature some of the best composed r&b records to drop the last 20 years imho... i.e Me myself&I, Deja Vu, Flaws&All

Bey's most critically acclaimed albums are from past the 2000's.

I personally think DIL and B'Day are good albums but I wouldn't say that they were held up that high as full projects. They had R&B bangers on them like you said but they weren't praised as total bodies of work like that.

Her 4, Self Titled, and Lemonade run is more consistent and took more musical risks than her DIL, B'Day, and IASF run imho. But it's all subjective anyway.

I personally think it goes: Destiny's Child > 2010's Beyonce > 2000's Beyonce but that's just my opinion.

She and Taylor Swift are in a very hot war right now. They're both trying to claim the title of biggest tour by a female artist, and biggest tour by a solo artist, but Taylor is in the lead and on balance to finish ahead.

Taylor Swift really announced more dates for fall of 2024 for a tour that's still happening right now as we speak.

I'm sure Beyonce is gonna announce an Asian leg and another North American swing for 2024 as well. It's gonna be crazy to see what happens if Beyonce's tour is on track to pass Taylor by the end. If they tour these albums into 2025

They really could because that’s what rock bands do.
They’ll tour for 1-2 years, just include longer breaks between legs.


AND THAT’S A GREAT POINT- she didn’t include any Asian stops on this tour, but she hasn’t toured Asia for a minute. I hope there is another leg, but I doubt it.


And Taylor literally had 146 dates on this damn tour


But you know what- I can’t even hate because she literally paid $50million in bonuses to everyone working on her tour. Absolutely insane and incredibly generous.
