Nas old ass gets praised for sitting on a lawn chair in the hood, but Jay gets hate for posing with his wife as the new ambassador for Tiffany’s
He's a huge inspiration to him, I guess it's the (forced?) connection thru creating high level "Art" that he ID's with, at root...on top of him being just ridiculously rich and being into overly-priced art pieces.
I never minded it, you're never too old to stan someone, lol, as long as the person is someone worthy of adoration and inspires you to keep growing, creatively, etc...

It isn't a 'never before seen piece'...it's a work that hasn't been seen in public since it was bought in the 80's. Might not mean much to you but in the art world there's a big difference between the two distinctions.
