What do they worship about him most? His "wealth". The appearance of being a successful billionaire businessman gives him clout among the po whyte trash that rock the MAGA snap backs. There's a reason he won't release his taxes because if they knew he wasn't as rich as he cast himself to be, they won't bang with him.

Bloomberg checks all those boxes with the receipts to back it. Bloomberg and other super rich NYers loathe Trump for faking the funk. He knows how to hit trump where it hurts and that base is here for all the petty and school yard insults. The fact that he's a confirmed bigot is even more appealing to them.

Bloomberg won't hurt the dem nominee in a 3rd party scenario. He's going to more of a foil to Trump the way Perot was to Bush.
no i dont think his wealth is that important to it. they like him because they think he is defending their racial and cultural “values”

One of the biggest factors in a large number of black people’s primary voting criterion is who they think white people will vote for when the curtain closes behind them in the voting booth. We know Bernie has better policy plans. We know Elizabeth Warren is a better communicator. We have seen Buttigieg’s Douglass plan.

But we also know white people.

Donald Trump is proof of what they will do.

For many black people, the prospect of an unchecked, second-term white supremacist outweighs the choice between Medicare for All and a public option. It’s heavier than student loan forgiveness or foreign policy. It’s bigger than all of the economic proposals and tax plans combined. It’s not even that people don’t think the other Democratic candidates can defeat Donald Trump. We just don’t know if they can defeat the overwhelming self-interests of white people.
I know some people here don’t like The Root but I thought this was an interesting POV. That last sentence reminds of some of the comments made here during the debates and the NH primary about supporting Peter and Amy (two people who have essentially campaigned on what we can’t do).

you're ultimately advocating nothing

that isn't an option
no i'm telling you voting for bloomberg = leaving trump in office in regards to black people. It wont make a da... bit of difference which of them are in office as far as black people are concerned. it will not change our lots in life for the better either way.

White supremacy mixed in with Billions = White supremacy mixed in with billions. It is literally all the same.

This sister talks about meeting Bobby Rush. The Bloomburg biscuits have been distributed. Look how hard black elites are shilling for the great "moderate" hope in Bloomburg.

"Electability"

The bald head dude on Rollie's show is a Bloomburg bootlicker.

Because nobody on the right is sitting around looking for reasons to not vote. It really is that simple. We are at war. So we have to fight with whatever we have at our disposal. Whoever. And I really mean whoever the Democrats pick need our support.

Anybody who believes otherwise is selfish as hell.

I repeat...nobody and I mean nobody on the right is looking for a reason to not vote for Trump. You don't vote for the Democrats clowns go on and on about how nothing sways them and stay giving his base lip service but act like we should look for any reason to stay home or vote for someone who can't win for shyt.

I believe you're all low key Trump supporters myself.:francis: You don't fool me.

I'm not voting for Trump either. :hhh:

But i'll be damned if I vote for a republican oligarch interloper who defends and justifies redlining and stop and frisk. For fukks sake, are we that desperate?
Seriously. Some people are so fukking weak. I’m not voting for Bloomberg ever. And if you motherfukkers try to shame me into it, I’ll vote for Trump :yeshrug:
Nah not really. But I will keep my ass home

I agree. I honestly think Bloomberg is just trump with less ego, which in truth is even more dangerous

Dude is as much of a bigot as trump if not more. Just as exploitative of the working class. Same greed. Same political beleifs at the core when they arent pretending. Bloomberg was literally a republican less than 5 years ago

That shyt would be the biggest slap in the face you could hand to voters
