Smh at Stacey abrams. And we were supposed to be excited last time by her an Gillum. And her and Gillum supposedly lost on here cause they were “ too far left”

lmao a dude that is touting Juan guiado and a woman selling out to a racist billionaire :mjlol:
Everyone's got a price :francis:

F*cked up part is that it's all so out in the open and flagrant.

But what's even more f*cked up is that if Trump had Bloomberg's money he could buy their ass too.

Maybe they would reject Trump at $5m but $15-$20m would probably have them singing his praises.

Bloomberg would lose in the general election even if he has a progressive running mate. And here is why:
His comments on redlining, women, lgbtq folk will depress the democratic base.
His stop and frisk policies will be brought up worse than Hillary’s “super predator” comments.
His support of neo conservative foreign policy would also be used against him.
His history of supporting the Republican Party and also him supporting income inequality policies. He is radioactive and would not excite the democratic base at all.

Deflection? Ok.

I’m just wondering if you had any thoughts on these two racist billionaire monstrosities both currently subverting democracy in previously unfathomable ways being brought to us by NYC.

Speak on it, gawd.

I've already spoke on Trump at length, I'm not sure if you were around

NYC is a place of extremes, they're a reflection of city and their time, I think it's easy to gloss over their age and society at the time.

The two have more in common with each other than the public.

Trump is chameleon and Bloomberg is an authoritarian technocrat. I'm not sure if they're a reflection of the population at large but their "platform" is all about alleviating peoples fears and I think that explains their success.

As far as stop and frisk goes I think it's a mistake to lay it on Bloomberg's feet alone. The problem cuts a lot deeper the constitution, supreme court rulings, racism, and policing practices in general. I would be very interested to see what the city council and other elected officials was doing during this timeframe.

Neither of them belong in office obviously, they're dinosaurs and not the redeemable kind.

Hypothetically I would vote for Bloomberg over Trump if push came to shove.

So we’re in agreement that NY lost?
