him and Trusty Trent were great. was a little dissapointed in Dee Jackson, he put on alot of weight and didnt do alot. he was my sleeper of the '14 class, still has a chance to make a move but Bethel and the 2 incoming FR gonna be on his ass for PT. Patchan was healthy for like 2 games but he was a beast, end is not a problem for sure

heard that Chad might declare, im as indifferent to that as Quad being suspended this year. Kool got him to play with more effort, made alot more plays, but idk about dude. not sure if he wants to be great
Toolbox :Ouuuuuuu: but Chad more focused on mixtapes

i agree, hes more skilled than mean which is probably better long-term. thought that about decommitted (still pursued) CB prospect Brian Edwards. hes skilled, awesome frame, but he dont hit yet, played alot of S too

recruiting sites are clownish sometimes, look at Mike Pinckney. did he look 3*? dude was a savage from the second he stepped on the field, not 1 site had him higher than a 3. Ed Reed was a 2*, sometimes you just gotta trust the coaches. alot of times the out of state HC's will take a 4* kid that none of the Big 3 offered. why? they saw him in person and decided to pass. Latavious Brini is a 4 and none of the Big 3 have offered him

agree with this - there's good 3 stars and bad 3 stars

good 3 stars are dudes like Pinckney, who commit early and don't play games, don't travel to a dozen camps across the country to get their name out there, etc.

on the surface it may look like we're getting more 3 star recruits, but these are the ones that you know will be contributors, not projects like the ones Golden used to bring in

and from all the news I'm hearing on the recruiting trail, the 4 and 5 stars may be coming :ehh:

**This is a big one. The nation’s top junior college cornerback Jhavonte Dean, an Alabama commit, told CanesInSight tonight that he will be taking an official visit to Miami. Dean is originally from South Dade High School in Homestead and played optimist football with current Hurricanes Dionte Mullins and Cedrick Wright, as well as 2018 commit D.J. Ivey. The ties here are very strong and sources tell CanesInSight that Miami could be in line for a big move on him. When I get a visit date from him, I will post it.

the push is real

Gaynor is being recruited as a center and should take reps there immediately (i know thats not as exciting as Dean but i wanted to pass it along)

Holloman picked UGA

still in the mix with Smith, coaches got an in-house with him

4* DT Elijah Conliffe is visiting soon, Kool went to visit him. wanted a 2nd DT in this class so that would be nice. top JUCO OL Elliott Baker is also coming soon, Bama commit considered a longshot

Anybody else reading rumors that Najee Harris might decommit from Bama?

:ohhh:

Unfortunately even if it might be true, he's not considering The U.
He should tho. Coward.

it feels like a look of South Florida kids want to stay home, but they need to see a product on the field first...we definitely have some momentum right now in the community
Just saw a blurb that DE Andrew Chatfield (2018) is hoping to get an offer from Miami.
Listed at 6'3, 220. Dude is gonna have to pack on a lot of muscle and weight though.
Edit - I guess some people view him as a linebacker...
