Let's face it The U isn't breaking bread so we not getting them players anymore. Oh yeah....all these guys aren't old enough to remember "The U". How we gone recruit to bring the U back when we was never on to these nikkas :mjcry:

man stop all that, South Florida kids know all about the legend of the U and they want to stay home, we just need to show something on the field so that they sign here and not leave us #2

we're still a national brand, our three highest draft picks this year will be from Los Angeles, Nashville, and New Jersey. This recruiting class we have 4 star recruits from Cali and Georgia.

I mean just look at all the kids that had us #2 but went somewhere else to try and win a natty: Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley, Dalvin Cook, Sony Michel, Travis Rudolph, etc etc etc
We start becoming a 10 win team again and these caliber players start staying home.

That's why I don't trip when people say things like 'well, Richt is a perennial 9-10 win coach per year, he always finds a way to lose 1-2 games he shouldn't'. Yeah, well, the same applies to Jimbo Fisher and Dabo Swinney, but when you show that you can consistently win 9-10 a season, you give yourself a chance to recruit players like Jameis, Dalvin Cook, or Deshaun Watson to your program.

All that #2 talk is irrelevant. Either we is or we ain't

what WR's would play right away? i dont get the freakout about it

Cager (RS-S) and Richards (true soph) are outside, with Berrios and Mullins competing for the slot. we just signed 3 high school AA's at the position, yes Bruce needs to be replaced but even a guy like Smith would only get limited targets next year. you know Richt would favor the upperclassmen

we need to build the depth there for the future, Dingle is a starting caliber player. id like one more also but cb and ol is waaay more important than wr in this class. if we close with 3 of Slaton/Herbert/Dean and Smith thats a good finish

not sure about Irvin Jr. and Haskins as early as next year, but yea theres athletes @ TE too. the kid Polendey thats coming in from Texas has good film only played fb for 2 years. it will be important to get the top 2 targets @ WR next year for sure, but i dont feel its as bad as some make it

Our WR aren't that good. We're lacking explosive players on offense

Richards is that, Cager is more of a bigger possession guy but would have been the WR1 this year if he didnt get hurt. this staff is high on him

Mullins isnt a 4.3 guy, but he can play and can get downfield. got into a few games then got hurt, i think he could make a move on Berrios who shouldnt start

McFarland should help with returns/gadget plays, hope they lock him in soon

Smith is 160 lbs, i mean hes not going to play outside of returns. i like him alot too, but hes a longtime Bama lean who doesnt seem to be budging much. Harley is a Miami level athlete, just dont know what kind of wr he is here. i think hes a take, kind of interesting his 2 schools play (hes a WVU commit) wonder if hes waiting

@CanesMiamiLakers is right, we don't have nearly ENOUGH explosive playmakers. Richards is only one guy. no dangerous return guys, no one to scare the opposing defense with the threat of taking it to the house from a reverse or out of the backfield. walton is ok
I love Richards but sometimes I wonder how he gets open cause he is slowwwwwww.

:troll:
If anything Richards has been hampered by Kaaya's inconsistency. He basically stuck running quick timing routes cause Brad can't move in the pocket.

Cager coming back healthy next year is gonna make all the difference. Him and Richards outside means Berrios moves back into the slot and we stop wasting a route with him outside.

Dudes freaking out over WR recruiting need to relax.

Banda is in charge of Edwards and Dean, i like that. heres an interview with Dean Jhavonte Dean updates recruitment with CIS

Jon Ford reminds me of Allen Bailey alot, ill never understand why him and Garvin didnt get higher rankings just like i didnt get Pinckney last year. Ford can easily get to 300 with no gut, him and Tyriec Martin from last years class got the Kool stamp of approval so i trust him :hubie:
