JBL. Dude found a way to get EVERYONE to hate him. One of the last true heels.

And its NOT EVEN CLOSE. Jbl got the og ecw crowd to want to murder him, and he had nothing to do with ecw :win: RIP blue meanies face.

JBL was the truest heel that you were DYING to see him get beat and he always worked his way out with a bloody face, being held up by orlando, and the strap. JBL would have zach ryder getting steve austin pops if they were in a title fued right now.

JBL and its not even close. Some of Punk Heel run has been solid but its mostly out of place because they never came up with a good reason for him turning heel. Until Lawler had the heart-attack he didn't really say anything that made me want to boo him. Punk was actually correct in all his explanations so you couldn't get mad at him. Despite brainwashing from Cena, and random cena dikk-riding legends who would talk shyt to him.

JBL portrayal was consistent throughout his entire reign, as the arrogant blow hard, who had to rely on cheating to win. Punk spends 6 months as a honorable fighting champ, then all of sudden in August he's this insecure weakling that needs cheating, Heyman, crooked refs, and a damn task force to keep the belt. It's just dumb, he could've still been a heel and continue to be a competent champ.

JBL is a much better pure heel. Nobody likes a personality like that. He's fantastic at playing an a$$hole and you can like his performance and talent in doing that, but could you possibly like someone in real life with that personality? No. People will hate that personality for the long haul.

Whereas Punk's heel persona is too similar to his face persona. It has a lot to do with thinking he's smarter and cooler than everyone else, so a lot of the fans who liked that when he was a face will continue to like it when he's a heel.

JBL's run. Now if Punk would have cost Rock his match against Cena we may have a legitimate argument.

Your points about are both men true, but with better Writing Punk can get the majority of the crowds to hate him even with his huge smark following. Dude had fans ready to jump the rails to get at him during The Straight Edge Society run.

The way WWE has framed the story after his turn at Raw 1000, Punk came off a justifiably angry babyface as opposed to some entitled arrogant heel. which was what i guess they were going for :usure: Cena and Ryback constantly being awarded title shots for the hell of it also didn't help matters either.

Whatever to #1 contender matches, beat the clock challenges and battle royals anyway? :beli:

It's not the 80s anymore though. You can't be a Flair heel and win clean. That's reserved for monster heels now. Punk is supposed to be a cheater and an apologist. Why did Austin turn heel in 2001? He needed help to beat the Rock and to get that title belt NO MATTER WHAT. "I have to beat you, Rock." That's what he said in that sit down interview but that statement wasn't understood until the aftermath. CM Punk has mostly been running from Ryback and needing help since the tie thing in Boston with Cena.

jbl. but to punk's credit, jbl was working with a way better roster and quality opponents. jbl wasn't relied on to carry the show

I think your bytchass needs to stop worrying about JBL's wrestling opponents and a little more about your terrible Football team. Tony Gonzalez did really good for you :deadmanny:

I am going rape you today, get ready:
