Not even close, True Detective is probably the only one that's in the discussion with the top 3 shows from the 00's and we haven't even gotten to the 2nd season

The Sopranos and The Wire are probably two of the top 3 TV shows ever....

The early 2000's hands down. The Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, OZ, Six Feet Under, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Entourage. That's a killer lineup.

expectations mightve been too high with all the classics they were pumping out back then but good lord did they fukk up big time

in recent years their problem has been passing on potentially great shows like Mad Men,The Walking Dead,Breaking Bad,etc.
