Better Debut Album: It’s Dark and Hell is Hot or Reasonable Doubt?

Reasonable Doubt is the better album by a margin. I love DMX and It's Dark is a great album but Jay put on a clinic on that album hell of anything it's underrated at least on the Coli.

I knew people in real life and real time who literally swore by that album. To act like it’s impossible or weird for people to pick it over RD is asinine, IDAHIH was a rare gift to hip hop. Nothing like it before it or after it. That album literally affected people’s lives. People genuinely LOVED X.

RD is held in that regard because Jay Z campaigned for it to be. Let’s keep it a buck. And it’s not held in WAYYY higher regard either. IDAHIH is literally one of the main albums that saved Def Jam. That’s facts. UR the one who keeps mentioning impact. And in real time, IDAHIH was WAYYYY more impactful than RD. In the streets and in the mainstream. In every facet u can think of.
