After having not seen it in a while, I forgot how raw the first terminator was. It really put poor Sarah into the damn blender. In the span of 2 days she loses everything she had to a machine and made an innocent girl so hardened she could be used to cut stones.

The 80s also had the running man. And Arnold was on one in that one as well

80s probably got the bigger franchises started and classics but i felt like 90s had way better fight choreography.

i loved martial arts movies alot so i favor 90s fight scenes more. i felt like they perfected it.

jet li in the bodyguard, fist of legend and jackie chan in drunken master and Who Am I.

also hard boiled is a gunfu classic i can always rewatch.

80s was just too raw:
The Thing
Aliens
Cobra
Predator
Terminator
Die Hard
Batman
Death Wish 2 and 3 (John Wick blueprint)
Roadhouse
Red Dawn
Above The Law
Robocop
Bloodsport
Top Gun
Commando
Rambo
Action Jackson
Lethal Weapon
License to Kill
Living Daylights

Even James Bond was getting even busier in the 80s...

90s had technically better action movies but 80s action movies had more soul to them, if you catch my drift.

Yes this….

I kinda have my heart more the the 80s…. Even the underground ones not named like the American Ninja series

So this is the top 10 according to this video

10 : Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981)
09 : Hard Boiled (1992)
08 : The Dark Knight (2008)
07 : Predator (1987)
06 : Aliens (1986)
05 : Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
04 : Seven Samurai (1954)
03 : The Matrix (1999)
02 : Die Hard (1988)

Hmm I don't have a definitive top 10 but this is not looking like how my top 10 would look. What y'all think?
