The problem with opening schools is there's going to be a shortage of teachers to teach. Older teachers are thinking about retiring early instead of risking it. Also substitute teachers ain't tryna work either. It's going be a mess.

uep a lot of them won’t even show up, straight up breaking the lease if they have too. S long as they got a friend to live with they gonna day F them. No one is going to risk it.

it’s gonna get real nasty in a few months, all types of beef for dinner.

The pendulum switched quick cuz I swear parents was arguing before Memorial Day how they wanted kids back in school cuz they couldn’t handle work/watching over their kids lessons. This was just my Facebook friends tho lol but I’m a black democrat with a similar circle so I figured most parent on both party sides wanted their kids back.

I'm on both sides of the fence with this cause you CAN make an argument for both sides. My son is entering the 2nd grade and he was very disinterested in the virtual learning and he learned better in classroom setting. Also, my wife and I both work from home and we don't have that much time during our work schedules to help with his work (we also will have twins starting VPK this year). So yes, for his academic progress, I know he'd learn better in the classroom than at home and it would be better for him from a learning standpoint. That's looking at it from strictly a learning standpoint.

But sending them to school just FEELS like a death trap and i'm not going to send my son to school if there's an option for virtual learning. My job production will take a hit and i'll risk losing my job if it means I have to devote more time during school hours to help him when he's not in virtual learning. I just don't want to take that risk AT ALL. If jobs aren't having us work in the office but schools saying send the kids back to school, that shyt just will make me feel guilty as hell bruh. I can't shake that feeling at all.

These people are shyttards....

Even if students are back in the building THEY WILL BE ONLINE IN THE BUILDING.

There will be no recess
There will be no exchanging classes
There will be spaces such as offices and large closets that will be used for instruction
There will be lunch had in those spaces
There will not be any storage of personal belongings/materials
There will be typically “classes” of 9 or 10 kids max...
There will be no guarantee that a teacher will be in that actual closet/office/classroom
There will be random (hopefully vetted) adults supervising your kids....
There will be no in person social gatherings

but but this type of learning is better than full time online...because of socialization reasons :stopitslime:

Also no educational field trips because museums and the like are still closed. End of the year class trips are bushed too because even with some theme parks reopening they will have admittance caps.

I'm actually for having children in school. That said, there needs to be a plan to protect the children, teachers, etc. There isn't one and I don't trust these asshats to come up with a good plan because it is not about protecting anyone...it's about protecting Trump and his economy. So if there isn't a legit plan to protect people then fukk sending your kids in. It's that simple and if this dumb jackass didn't have his head up his ass for months, kids would be going to school. He completely fukked this up.

You all still haven't caught on that these COVID-19 responses are NOT ABOUT THE VIRUS and is more about opportunism? The people who want everything shut down are promoting it to hurt Trump's chances at re-election. They are not doing it to "protect the children". This country isn't new to pandemics and it isn't anywhere close to The Last of Us outside. :dahell::why:

Not to mention they aren’t even trying to increase the pay for substitute teachers to even consider taking the job

Charging $9.38 an hour here through a staffing agency :mjtf:

They are legit about to drag all of those school desks into the gym and use it as a place to social distance.
