Didn't Obama go around the country saying Hillary is the most qualified ever and made jokes Trump has no shot?

She was very qualified and wasnt Bernie and just about every other democrat forced to say the same shyt in support of the nominee against Candidate Orange :jbhmm:

How may of those were small dollar donations from regular people? His campaign didn't disclose these stats.

"Mr. O’Rourke’s aides would not say what their average contribution was or how many total donors contributed within the first 24 hours of his bid. As in his Senate race, he did not accept any money from political action committees."

I’m sure it was max amount from big donors

1. He didn’t disclose the numbers on the first day, he did it 5 days later

2. His aides didn’t disclose who donated the money

EDIT: We also don't know how many donations he received, and what the average donation number was

I doubt he got it purely from small dollar donations.

Forced no, but they did and she still lost so an Obama endorsement doesn't mean much .

Not much in a National Election with the two most unlikeable presidential democratic and republican candidates in modern presidential election history.

Obama stayed out of the primary process last time as a sitting president.

This time he recommended that to Beto that he use his 08 campaign brain trust to aide him over any other candidate including his buddy Joe Biden.

I dont know, it tells me that he sees something special in O'Rourke and he is gettin on the wave early :manny:

I think you're extrapolating too much from a very popular guy versus a really unpopular guy and a high minority turnout in a midterm. Dems are not winning Texas in a presidential year yet. Early polls are nonsense.

Biden and Beto cannot be the ticket anyway. Dems have to put a woman on the ticket. I'll say this. The final six are obviously: Beto, Biden, Bernie, Warren, Harris and Booker. No one in recent history has won the nomination when they're outside of the top 4 or 5 at this point in the process. Based on polling, one of those 6 is your nominee. Anyone below that is out of here and is simply angling for a cabinet positon. You saw that with Castro throwing shots at Sanders. That was an audition. I think if Bernie wins he takes a black or latina woman as his VP. If Warren wins then she takes someone like Beto. If Harris wins, she gets a white dude. If Booker wins then he takes a white woman and so on. If Biden wins then Kamala Harris is almost certainly his VP.

FYI, Beto hurts Biden more than he hurts anyone else. Most polls show that his entrance doesn't effect the Sanders/Warren wing. It has a greater effect on those more center types who want a new face. The way this lines up right now is that at some point Bernie or Warren will drop out and endorse the other one and consolidate the youth and progressive vote. Harris/Biden/Booker/Beto are all basically fighting for the same people. Based on that, one of Warren or Sanders is probably going to be 1st or 2nd in all of the early primaries. The lack of a young alternative to Bernie helps him (I don't think Pete has any shot...America is not electing a gay dude yet).

From where I'm sitting, the center had its shot at Trump in 2016 and the progressives will get their shot in 2020 with Warren or Bernie at the top of the ticket.
Hillary lost Texas by 750k votes to Trump. She gave it as much attention as Wisconsin. With Beto's GOTV campaign, Biden's appeal to MAGA cacs, and a looming recession/Mueller report - I believe that margin can be made up. It's not going to be easy, but it's worth keeping an eye on if you're Biden and decide not to pick a woman. Beto's issue right now is he's somehow pissed off the left with his announcement and Biden needs a progressive in that VP spot.
