The RNC’s tweet, combined with President Trump’s frequent use of the derisive nickname “Pocahontas” for Sen. Elizabeth Warren, raises questions about how the GOP is approaching its messaging against 2020 contenders more broadly, experts say.

RNC links ‘noted Irishman’ Beto O’Rourke’s heritage to 1998 DWI arrest
“Please drink responsibly,” reads the St. Patrick’s Day tweet, which includes O’Rourke’s mug shot with a leprechaun hat on top. A scholar said the tweet raises questions about the Republican Party’s “use of stereotypes to wound potential opponents.”

Beto O'Rourke raised massive $6.1 million his first day in the 2020 race, campaign says - CNNPolitics

please keep us updated with conspiracy theory tweets from bernie bros (or maybe some bernie math , shoutout to nap ) about how these numbers are false/dont mean anything/etc

maybe we should just let the process play out instead of nitpicking every single thing for the next year plus :francis:

"Mr. O’Rourke’s aides would not say what their average contribution was or how many total donors contributed within the first 24 hours of his bid. As in his Senate race, he did not accept any money from political action committees."

Beto O'Rourke Must Compensate for Coming Late to 2020 Race - The Atlantic

Barack Obama told Beto back in December to get in touch with David Plouffe, who ran his 2008 campaign, and Paul Tewes, who directed his Iowa operation that scored a surging victory and propelled him to the White House. Both have now become O’Rourke advisers, along with other top Democratic operatives.

Obama is a Betoliever too :wow:

Bernie thots in disarray
#BetoBoyz

:mjlol:

They are an aggressive bunch guys i ll give them that.

The whole party is not progressives and the whole country damn sure is not. They like some progressive ideas but a whole platform like that gives them pause.

In an ideal world I would want a progressive government but I know the realities of those red and purple states and this system of electing people at the federal level.

Im trying to see assurance of a complete victory in November 2020 with a young, electric and energetic candidate that can appeal to those swing state voters and Independents.

Trump is not winning Pennsylvania and Michigan again regardless but I want Florida, Arizona, Nevada and Wisconsin. If Texas turns blue on Beto's second crack at it:whew: game changer for a generation.

Im not sure if these other candidates based on their home state location and age can deliver that.

A democrat is likely to win but I
want to destroy Trump in 2020 in the electoral college and take the Senate back. You beating him like that with youth, energy and moderate policies.

Let the man develop. He is being vague for strategic reasons, he is gonna get more specific as he moves on, he has to. Way too early for specific policy positions for certain democratic candidates.

In fact its real dumb to have set positions this early in the process if your name is not Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren. He is being Flexible so he is not boxed in early at debates and town halls.

Didn't Obama go around the country saying Hillary is the most qualified ever and made jokes Trump has no shot?
