at most of the people in the thread voting D-Bry but the poll favoring HBK. In fact it doesn't seem he's gonna be able to overcome the difference at this point .scust: at this format. Give people that don't even post here the power to choose the winner brehs

Anyway, let's get to it
Ring work (10)
This is fairly easy to me. Bryan is one of the top 10 wrestlers I've ever seen in my life. Michaels is top 30. Now, I've seen a lot of shyt from different countries and eras so top 30 is pretty fukking great btw. But D-Bry managed to reach a level of excellence that I've only seen from the truly elite guys, and he's done it for 20 years in different promotions against different opponents and playing different roles, that's some truly remarkable shyt.
Michaels honed a style that I'm not that enamored with. He was fukking incredible in that style and it's the reason why some many people stan so hard for him (specially when you add the WWE machine behind it) and he also could have some legit remarkable performances in big matches. He just falls short when you compare him career wise, in all promotions, with Bryan.
Another thing. Both are fukking EXCELLENT tag team workers. The Rockers have become underrated with time imo. That era boosts HBK's resume quite a bit.
Mic work/promos (10)
Both became more comfortable cutting promos the older they got, but I think Bryan took longer to reach a level were he could cut a money promo whenever he wanted. Now, I do believe Michaels is kinda overrated in this point because some talk like he's a legit elite promo guy when he's not really THAT good. All in all, I think Bryan will end up being better as he becomes older and gets to cut more promo. Right now I'll call it even or HBK with a 0.5 advantage.
Personality/gimmicks (10)
Similar to the last one, DB took longer to get comfortable playing any character and role but once he did, he got to a level HBK has at best matched. Michaels is way more charismatic, I think that's undeniable, but what both of them did career wise, in terms of character buidling, puts them pretty even. Shawn might be the more "natural" but being as over as Bryan was, and as hated as he was last year and in 2018, it's they type of stuff wasn't able to reach.
Overall rating (10)
Up until 4 years ago, this matchup was the classic "overall vs 1 big category" situation. In the sense that HBK might've had the advantage on most of the points except in ring - unless you truly stan and love Michaels, of course - were Bryan's ability was so big he could compensate the other factors. In 2020 though, I think we've seen enough from both guys to say they are pretty even in every factor that's non in ring ability. So when you add quality of matches, Bryan gets the clear upperhand.
Number of matches you like from each person
I mean this is not even close. Not even talking about "best of vs best of" matches. I think you can actually make a very compelling case for HBK. But when you add TV matches, random indy matches (non televised) and work outside WWE, Bryan wins by a landslide to me. For every match I iked from Michaels, there's literally at least 4 I could say the same about Bryan.
