The introduction alone is so powerful. My moms took me to see it as a kid and I remember it like yesterday with myself and everyone feeling AMPED, knowing we were gonna be watching some piff. Boy, were we in for something....:ohlawd:

I'm glad Lee made this movie when he did because NO WAY would this movie be made nowadays.

I got it when I was a kid, but didn't really get it until living on both sides of the frame. Even if it's not his very best, it's definitely one that sticks with you.

You beat me to it but yea the older I got the more I understood it and it's still prevalent in our culture today. He captured it perfectly.

I loved it on the original Nas-****** (Slave and Master)
