I thought about this scene too.
That movie was so damn good. Spike's last great film
Isn't he working on a sequel?

I still vividly remember going to see X in the theater when I was young. That shyt was an event b/c my older sister got sneak preview tickets. Radio stations and celebrities came out to see it the whole city showed up. A movie that just told the story of black excellence and tragedy. Man when it was over people stayed for about an hour asking questions like having a townhall meeting. That movie inspired and woke a lot of people up at the time it was released. Even my attitude changed after watching it b/c at the time I didnt know much about him. Sad these kids dont have anything to even look up to nowadays as far as movies. Spike Lee was/is definitely one of my heroes. To a 90s kid, like Skyzoo said Spike Lee Was My Hero
and darren deon vann and jesse matthew and...The Birth of a Nation part kinda pissed me off more because to me, it reflects that fukkin catcalling video...
First scene that popped into my head. The use of music the atmosphere the classic Spike Lee close-up camera angle.
